Raw grief. This is the album that got me into the band. I still consider it great and also kind of underrated. Most people talk about their latest releases but this is one hell of an album. It definitely needs more love.

Quite a downbeat record, but the atmosphere and instrumentation is excellent. It's the first proper album I've listened to by Anathema (The only other release I've heard were the 'Pentecost III' and 'The crestfallen EP's, which were early on in the band's career) and thus the first release that didn't have their Death/Doom sound on. 'Lost control', 'Feel' and 'Destiny' are my particular highlights.

haven't heard this in awhile but I love the first half, then the title track and on just weighs it down so much for me. If this was as consistent as their newer stuff I'd bump my rating a lot more
