Wow! There sure is a lot of tension about this band being mainstream or not. Personally, I could care less. If the music is good, who cares if MTV plays their videos as much as your everyday generic Rock band. As long as great music is getting to the masses, then I'm satisfied. Seriously, this whole "Screw the mainstream! I'm hardcore!" attitude is getting old. I understand it, and, in some ways, I feel the same way. However, some people can go overboard with it.

it had nothing to do with the whole hardcore 'screw the mainstream' attitude at all - i was just saying here in the uk very few people have heard of them - far far less than 5% that's all

It's probably the lack of any real direction that throws it away
there is plenty of direction with the ambient sections. in fact, i honestly think this album would be weaker without it
