Because it makes me feel like I'm trudging through waist-deep snow up some godforsaken mountain in search of something I lost. It's the sense of adventure, the thrill of being in the wilderness -- the feelings of hopelessness, determination, despair, and that shiver in your spine. It's being alive.
But I don't have to worry about frostbite, or even leave my bed to do it over and over again.
