BFD is a heavy metal album with BM leanings, this seems more BM. Not an authority on the subject at all but that’s how it seems. Early 80s first wave BM is more like that.

What you're describing is just what the first wave sounds like. Saying its not BM because it doesn't share the characteristics of the second wave or modern BM is a little bizarre. I'd put Deathcrush and BFD (or Under the Sign of the Black Mark) up there with most anything that's come after, though I enjoy them for different reasons than the stuff that came later.
