To be honest I didn't like No Rest For The Wicked back in 88. Found it worse than The Ultimate Sin and specially badly produced. This album took a couple of listens to grow on me but it really did. Songs
like Miracle Man, Devil's Daughter (Holy War), Bloodbath in Paradise, Tattooed Dancer and specially Breakin' All the Rules are now absolute classics in my book.
However I still don't like the production.

I know its far from ozzy's best album, but the guitar work here is brilliant.

If I have to choose one absolute favourite with Ozzy, this has to be it!(perhaps a draw with No more tears). Closely followed by the 2 first albums from him.
Musically this is a clear return to form, after a few uneven years, and the songs are allthrough good heavy grooving.
And let´s not forget, he soon came into his best physical form, so far. It didn´t get much better than that ;)
Especially the second side here, kicks ass: Bloodbath in paradise, Fire in the sky, Tattoed dancer and Demon alcohol (with alcohol personified as a demon, it even beats Suicide solution as an antidrink song.

Breakin' All the Rules is easily the most underrated Ozzy song ever. Song kicks ass.

I was never really a fan of this album, maybe I should give it another listen at some point. It's been ages since I've listened to any Ozzy album actually.

Wylde's first album with Ozzy. No wonder he sounds so fresh and inspired

Yep. This and No More Tears were really great, interesting performances by Zakk. For a long time now though he's been just doing generic groovy, chug, radio metal riffs (although I'm still a fan of that stuff as well, albeit not as much).

2.0?? What the hell is wrong with people? This is by far the most agressive and heavy album ozzy has ever put out! amazing riffs mesmerizing solos and cool lyrics... Those who have ranked this album under 3.5, should go to the university of good taste in heavy metal. They need intensive courses as soon as possible...
