Yeah, this is legit. Prog-ish rock shit done right. I mean they remembered to add hooks which is often a foreign concept in the world of prog. No unnecessary noodling around here

“The Twyncyn / Trembling Willows” is so satisfying that I do admittedly yearn for it a little too readily, instead of just enjoying the album till that point

that one probably is the best song here, but the whole run from The Exact Colour to the end is fab (Bullitts Dominæ used to be my fav despite being one of the more pedestrian songs in most aspects lol). lot of nostalgia for this album - think I like it more for strong choruses and harmonies than any of its structural/prog/climactic qualties, though it walks that walk too

Yeah, this is all about the choruses / harmonies. I wouldn’t be against trimming some of the prog structure / aspects from its runtime in all honesty. Then again, it flows well for the most part
