Nah, it's just varied songwriting, there is no rule stating how a song should be written. Like I hate when people say that songs that go verse,chorus,verse,chorus,bridge,chorus have good song structures.

To Wizard, probably the reason they sound like pieces is because it's supposed to be played as one long song, not eight individual songs, BTBAM said themselves each song is a section in the total composition.

Yeah I was like that at first too, but then I put the legitamately bought CD in my surround sound and realized that if I hadn't looked at the song titles, I wouldn't even know theres parts to the whole.

No no, the songs themselves sound as if they are comprised as individual pieces. Sounds like they came up with a ton of solid riffs and just haphazardly threw them together. Still a fun listen.
