Honestly that's been the one song that's just bizarrely placed for me. I often move it past Famous Last Words or before Cancer during my frequent listens. I like the flow of Cancer into Mama into Sleep into Disenchanted and Famous Last Words a bit better.

Peak deathcore was and still is despised icon imo

When it comes to the old school deathcore it's either Red Chord or bust. I like to forget their vocalist became a cop. I can get down with Mitch era suicide silence too, but especially the last album they did with him.

I came across an old magazine where Gerard says it effectively is the anthem of the outcasts sort of, in the universe where this is being told. It probably fits better as sort of a rough detour like a movie scene that isn't directly tied to the patient's decline. But for me it's weird being in the middle of two all timer stretches.

Rip Mitch, Suicide Silence were so good with him. Red Chord are great too

The structure seeming a bit weird is probably a big reason I like the first two a little more than The Black Parade. Bullets is my personal all time favorite album.

One of these days I'm thinking about doing a 5 star writeup for Bullets, most of the reviews of it are from forever ago and the only 5 star is a pretty dogshit writeup.

Might just do Eviscerate Soul instead.
