yeah it looks awesome. the GBK songs officially rule. they're similar to the kosherat sound, same vocalist and all, but are slightly better produced and sound so much more heavier. typical GBK awesomeness in the riffing as well.

Last time I tried to download this it didn't work so hopefully it works today because I need to hear this. I just listened to Satanicunt on youtube and it was fucking awesome.

The download actually worked this time. I'm going to listen to this in a little bit. This Message Edited On 01.11.09

Sorry for the triple post, but I have to say that this is one of the best black metal albums I've heard in a while. I'll be getting the split and Kosherat in the next couple of days.

I think I prefer the guitarist's work in Arghoslent, but this is still pretty awesome. This Message Edited On 02.04.09

Yeah I like most of Arghoslent's work more than GBK's, but they're really good still, especially this album.

I'm not denying that they aren't awesome. I just prefer Arghoslent. GBK still rule a lot of face.

I shall rate after a few more plays. This Message Edited On 02.04.09

I think this is too similar to Arghoslent to choose which is better.

The difference between Arghoslent and GBK is pretty discernible.

The only one I see is that this is black metal and Arghoslent is death metal. Other than that they're pretty much exactly the same.

The similarity lies in the guitar lines; they're written and played by the same guy and he doesn't really try to be different in either band. Obviously they aren't going to sound the same because they're different bands and play different styles of music, but when it's the same general group of guys doing it it's easyto pick out similarities.

arghoslent has alot more blues/bluegrass influence to be sure, and alot more emphasis on sounding "heroic" or "epic"
