Aren't 2 members of The Haunted FROM AT THE GATES. Or did they leave. Kind of weird to see "They're ripping em' off!" when they still play...how they used to, seeing how it's one or both of the guitarists.
rEVOLVEr is a great CD though. So are the albums prior to it. Wasn't a fan of The Dead Eye or anything past though.

i was thinking about doing that one tbh, ir ead that soundoff and i comletely agree with it as well. Its running about a 2.5 for me right now as well, i'll probably move onto that one tonight if i can make it flow as easily as this most recent one came out.

i didnt mind the dead eye, thought it was a good mix of their melodic stuff with the thrash elements they used to have
but this is just atrocious
knocking my personal rating of this down even further

I personally like (or liked) the haunted as a thrash band, i enjoyed their first self titled album... which no matter what anyone says is nowhere near the at the gates rip off that people say it is in comparison with their other albums with the other lead singer. And rEVOLVEr seemed like a good return to form with their thrash sound back again and their former lead singer. However the dead eye bored me shitless and this is just as bad to be honest.
But thats just my opinion!

After listening to Vs. ,I didn't know if I should cry or puke. TDE was boring.This is boring & terrible.One good song (faultline),the rest sound like the band just going through the motions.I would describe it as lifeless. Two clunkers in a row.Hope that they regain themselves for future releases.

How can you say there is no bass on this album. His tone is HUGE and it holds the whole album together. there is even a bass solo on rivers run (Burton Style).
The Haunted make music they want to make, no trend following, no bullshit. just Top A-Grade music.
If you dont like it, go listen to some commercial fake metal!!

if you are looking for One Kill Wonder or Made Me Do It you won't find it here, but it doesn't mean it's a bad album instead of complain the band sounds change why don't you guys try to understand the new one?...Sure it's hard to understand but as a rock's album it's a good one, Trenches, Iron Mask and Little Cage are really good songs. About the riffs, They are fantastic in this album, Jensen and Bjorler know how to make songs with their "signature".
