I wasn't really going for similar vocal style, that's pretty much impossible next to GlassJAw, Jacobi and yes, OkayOkay too. I was mainly referring to the instrumental side of things, especially for HUHO. It's killing me that there's no more information given on the Zac Garren/Will Swan/Matt Geise/Loniel Robinson/Two members of A Lot Like Birds project since about six months.

Matt Geise confirmed on twitter once that his project with Will Swan is ongoing. He said about his solo hiphop/rnb venture that it was mostly a bit of fun to showcase himself.

Approx. how long ago was this? I think his rnb-ish stuff is alright, nothing fancy though. Also, not sure if people are generally into DGD/Will Swan here (most Lower Definition fans seem to be) check out Sianvar https://www.facebook.com/Sianvar?fref=ts Will Swan (DGD)/Donovan Melero (Hail The Sun)/Sergio Medina (Stolas)/Joseph Arrington/Michael Littlefield (both A Lot Like Birds, I think).

that tweet was on July 25 2013 it says. Wow wtf is Sianvar going to be Hail the Sun 2.0? This is awesome, there's no such thing as having too many technical posthardcore bands!

Ah, that's pretty recent, good to hear they're still doing that. And I know man, I love this ''genre'' so much, it'll probably get dull after a while, but as long as not TOO many bands are doing it I think I'll keep digging it.

this genre is kinda done already, night verses reminds me of these guys though and they are new.

Night Verses as Night Verses is pretty new yeah. But back when they were Archives and The Sound Archives they did something kinda similar instrumentalwise. Check TSA out, you might like them.

Wish they'd start up again. They had a strong fan base too. Wonder why they slowly faded away.

Also still jam this pretty regularly. The last 30 seconds of His Silent Film is probably my favorite part of this album for some reason.

Love the contrast between clean/harsh vocals without the use of layering.
