^ First off, the bandname made me cringe, haha. I listened to a couple of their songs, I can see where you're coming from with similarity but.. I don't know, they're not that interesting to me, definitely more exciting than most bands that have a similar sounds, but there's just something.. Maybe it's still the name, hah. As for Jacobi, really sad they probably won't make any music anymore after what happened to their vocalist.
EDIT: I see one of Okay! Okay!'s songs features Matt Geise, guess it didn't go unnoticed that they sounded like Lower D, haha.

They did release their sideproject's (YEW) EP a couple of months ago, but I think the recordings for that were done waaay before he got charged. Not sure what they're up to nowadays, didn't hear about them or the vocalist in a while.
