amazingly, the makers of this site had the foresight to allow users to 'edit' their rating of an album.. So yeah. I no longer carry the

stigma of a 5 on every comment i post. This album is merely 'superb' in my opinion.

hahaha.. i can at least guarantee that the album you'll be receiving is 'as good' as the myspace tracks, as those myspace tracks are simply low quality versions of songs from the album.

I can't get into the way this is produced. It is indeed fairly unique, and rather inspiring, but at the same time it sounds kind of lifeless and bored with itself sometimes. Don't really know how to explain it, but it just sounds tired.

I can't comment on the actual songwriting - it is what it is.. but there is something about the production that you should know, and anyone listening to the CD for that matter..



this was mixed/mastered by an audio engineer who did most of his commercial work from the 70's to the late 80's, and he kinda stuck by his beliefs about 'dynamics' and 'compression' and refrained from 'over compressing' the album.



now, im not going to claim to say this 'payed off' for us, or that it was a wholey negative move.. but one thing is for sure - when you put the CD in your player, you'll REALLY want to turn it up a few extra notches above your 'average cd'
