Album Rating: 2.5
tracks 3, 5, and 8 are good. Sister Charlatan is amazing. The rest ranges from boring to okay.
I wish this band would grow up so they could create a defining album that they clearly have the capacity to produce.
Also, the vocalist needs to learn that just because you have variety in your hardcore shout doesn't mean that every syllable needs to sound different. He needs to learn that saying "go" and "come on" before solos and breakdowns is not okay, and finally, he needs to learn that the word "fuck" is not, in fact, a good word for your lyrics, as 'cool' as it may sound.

Hate to double post, but I have to lower my rating to a 2.5, because all the breakdowns on this album sound exactly the fucking same. They're all in either half time or quarter time and the guitar just follows the drummer, and since the drummer can only play fast it just turns into a slower version of what was already stagnant.

Meh. Every verse sounds the same on this album. Production is all right (drums are wayyyyy too loud; guitar is almost inaudible at times) and vocals are good (his cleans are pretty lame. Not catchy enough), but otherwise it's a pretty boring album.
Germany is a good song, though.
