This has some incredible highs (Red Dress, Golden Age, DLZ, Family Tree) but is a bit difficult to listen to in 1 sitting for me. The constant falsetto is just kinda irritating me at times.

I think this is by far their best. Cookie Mountain is very good (without as many highs) whereas Desperate Youth has a couple of big highs but varies massively... some tracks almost feel unfinished.
I used to be a big fan, nowadays this is the one I still return to regularly. In fact if it counts as ‘pop’ then it’s probabky my all-time pop album.
