Good album, but there are a couple songs that rub me the wrong way. Nothing's perfect, so it still gets a good rating,.This Message Edited On 07.28.06

I've been steadily losing interest pop punk/ indie/ whatever genre you want to call this for the last year or so, but i just got this album a week ago and I love it. It's not perfect (I don't like "Chia-Like, I Shall Grow" anywhere near as much as the other songs, and the words "yeah" and "whoa" are used way more than a healthy amount of times), but as a whole it's extremely solid. Definitely the best pop punk album I've ever heard.

The only track I really like off Was is I Can get Sexual too, this album owns that collection.

Did somebody just call Thrice pop-punk?
Or Say Anything pop-punk? Pop-punk is definitely not punk.

No, these guys are punk. Real punk.
Punk is political. It was a movement designed to affect the masses with its message.
And that's what Say Anything is.

Wrong. It doesn't matter what the lyrical content is. Punk is fast, abrasive and agressive, whereas pop punk is more listenable, catchy and easier to get into. Sure, punk may sing about politics most of the time and pop punk rarely scratches the surface, but it all relies on the music, not the lyrical content.

Really? sometimes the lyrics seem a bit childish/cheesy. whatever floats your boat.

I got this the other day and it's pretty damn good. Alive with the glory of Love and The Writhing South have been on constant repeat.

Hey, what's the version of this album on iTunes? The one with six extra songs? The album itself is only $6.99. I'm definitely going to pick it up.

Where'd the other songs come from and are they any good??

That's the re-release of the album. I personally don't like the extra songs that much, but they're not bad.

Definitely pick up this album though.

I absolubtley LOVE the song "A Walk Trough Hell". I know it isn't in this album, it is in the EP, but the EP doesn't have a review.
