Anyway, yeah, Lars is a pretty boring drummer. While not adding anything to the cd, his drumming doesn't take away from it either. Except for the horrible sound of the drum..

Cut willfellmarsy some slack, he's a fan of The Mars Volta, so regular sounding music which isn't overly pretentious doesn't appeal to him.

I've only heard a few songs. They were the definition of okay. So I have to wonder how many of these 4.5s are nothing but people getting overexcited that Metallica is tolerable once more.

I like the songs in general, but this isn't raw Metallica, this is overproduced, restrained Metallica.
