Maxy boy is back! I'm unsure about the new user name too though. Oh well.
I actually saw this album in a local store last week and wondered if this had just come out. So I checked and saw it was released in May. My guess is that the store was over-stocked and simply brought all their copies forward to a more prominent position to try and suck in passers by.
Good review. You tried to find some positives, but got your point across well about the album's downfalls.

This review is right. This effort by 3 Doors Down is weak, and a continuation of the decline of a band which has not tried anything new in a long long time. I, too, used to really like Kryptonite, but I guess that as time goes by, 3 Doors Down seems as a one-hit-wonder-should-have-been.

This un-deserving self titled album is formulaic and boring. The reviewer at least kind of likes Train, but I really did not like one single song on this album. Sometimes I play this while I am driving but rarely do I survive the first three songs. Actually, the song I hate the least is Citizen/Soldier, although I absolutely despise the lyrics.

Train is boring, Citizin/Soldier is alright, and It's Not My Time is quite alright too. Rest is utter crap.

The more I listen to this album....well I was going to say it has started to grow on me, but that would be a lie.

Good review by the way.

Everything about this album looks boring.
And 'It's not my time' is dumb, as if a single that generic would convince anyone to buy this album

Yeah I guess 'It's not my time' to listen to this album anymore. lol

Sorry about the bad pun, but this cd barely deserves that.

and I tried to rate this lower, but I hit the wrong button while I was preoccupied with something else. This maybe would get a 1.5 from me.

Same old stuff. Mainstream & bland. Yet there's still something I like about these guys. 'She Don't Want The World' works very well.
