This literally made me rethink how I listen to math rock. Zach Hill is a demigod, I am sure of it. A lot of people will argue that he is all snares and nothing else but I think his sporadic drumming makes the album a masterpiece

Zach's really on an entire other rhythmic plain than most drummers. I also think he uses the full kit more completely than most drummers. And the fact he can do crazy fast quadruplets and triplets like butter with one kick pedal. I think Spencer often gets under-credited too. He has really interesting rhythmic and melodic ideas and he does lots of crazy bends.
