I can't enjoy most deathcore because it just combines all the bad aspects of death metal and metalcore (i.e. it tries way to hard to be br00tal and then throws in a bunch of breakdowns to make it even more br00tal). The only deathcore bands I really can get into are ones that actually try to branch out and at least add electronics or jazzy sections and things like that.

wow. i guess i just dont really pay that much attention to music these days. i like this album and a lot of other death core stuff. but then again i dont have high expectations for any kind of non-classical music because i study classical. it has gotten somewhat bland, and there isnt really any substance, but its a pretty intense album.

I don't really think this album is intense at all...then again I probably have a different definition of intense than most people. Sure the album is intensely angry, but it doesn't really impact anything IMO...it also goes back to substance, because I think for something to be considered intense it needs to have a real driving force behind it, and I really don't think this album has that...basically, intensely angry+heavy does not always equal intensity if that makes sense...

i guess i mean more musically than lyrically, because i rarely care about lyrics. Some of the songs are pretty driving to me. But i understand that we all like different stuff.

Musically speaking its no more or less intense than any of the other hundreds of deathcore albums in existence...I guess it accomplished what it set out to do (be heavy as balls) but its still boring and repetitive IMO, though I can listen to two songs off of here every now and then and not be bothered by it...

Yeah there are much worse releases than this...even so, I still wouldn't recommend it but there are very few albums that should really be avoided at all cost...its not HORRIBLE but its a pretty poor album IMO
