ya it just annoys me how many people are making snap judgments off a description from wikipedia and not actually hearing the music

Well actually the wikipedia thing fits as far as the lack of lyrical angst, which was really disappointing. But the vocals aren't THAT huge of a departure from Brother Sister, they're just more singing oriented.

As I just said, I watched some videos where they played new stuff live. It was good but at least from that recording seems to be a noticable step down from Brother, Sister. But then again I also watched a live recording of C-Minor and it wasn't near as awesome as the album recording, so we'll see.

The angle between Earth and Uranus suggest that their new album will be solid, but not as good as this one or foxes, and that after they release it the band will break up for some stupid reason

I have solid faith in this group. Listening to them I get a good sense of how their heads work with music and I know that even if Aaron comes out with angels wings and the band plays Sufjan Stevens music I will be greatly satisfied.

This is so close to becoming my second 5-star rating. The other one is Choirs of the Eye, which is what I use as a benchmark. I'll listen to this album for a few more days and i'll see what happens.
