Amazing album. King's playing is slow simple but really accurate and very soulful. What is truly lifting in this album is the rest of the musicians who create a stunning background. The piano, the double bass, the trombone, the fuckin' sax, all of these instruments add a very special flavor.



An album highly recommended for all blues lovers.

I know it's not on this album but that song is so awesome. I especially love the Johnny Adams version. First heard it in the intro to the movie 'Bowfinger' with Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy and it suits the premise of the film and I just love that song so much
