Of course they say that. They want people to listen to their next album.

There was no one member of the band that single-handedly sustained their sound. It was always the perfect storm of everyone's talents put together.

Stone Sour started off pretty great, first couple of albums wise, but their most recent stuff is lolbad to me.

Crap. Joey made that band fuckking heavy. Paul was the main songwriter. The job is fucked.

I have no expectations but I'll give it a chance & that's all we can really say now

Likewise. As long as it's nothing like Stone Sour, I'll be happy

That's funny, because I think House of Gold and Bones Pt. 1 and 2 are their best works. Audio Secrecy stumbled a lot though.

HOGAB was good.

Also, as long as they have Corey on board, they don't have to worry a damn thing about songwriting. Stone Sour has taught us that much.

HOGAB was boring and generic IMO. No need compromising, especially as it's been an age since this was released. Yeah, the band is definitely going to miss Paul

Slip.

It's not even that hard to write Slipknot lyrics to begin with.

Might not be hard, but it could easily end up souless.

And the rain will kill us all...

Well, they're not exactly gonna win awards for that, but I overlook lyrics for the most part

Can we all agree that the guys in Slipknot are the biggest douchebags on the planet for making Donnie Steele play backstage?

Oh I know - everything this band does is just amazing.

Corey is a solid songwriter, but I personally feel it's pretty average and won't be very interesting if he has the most songwriting influence

Regardless, Corey is a nice guy for sure.
