It was pretty damn good on first listen and I know it’ll continue to grow like DTGL did...but final verdict remains to be seen.

Not yet. Only these two. Then I’ll go to Disambiguation, then TOCS, and lastly Erase Me. No interest in the first three.

It's mid 2000's screamo

at its finest

TOCS aint Screamo bby. Its also not the most well aged of Underoaths discography. It was their most commercial until Erase Me came out.

This album has always been underrated. A great in between of their sound they had on DTGL and what they evolved into on Disambiguation.

The 2nd is also worth a listen. Don't bother with their first.

Gave this a few more listens and yeah, it’s not quite as good as dtgl but it’s close. Just lacks the stand out songs for me like A Moment Suspended in Time, Returning Empty Handed, etc. This does have some amazing tracks though (particularly in the beginning and the end).

Not sure why the review dumps on A Fault Line and The Created Void. Both great fucking songs.

Pretty much everything here owns, but "Emergency Broadcast: The End Is Near" is easily top 5 Underoath songs

Yeah The End is Near and The End is Here are great. My least fav two are probably We Are the Involuntary and Coming Down but they’re still good. The Only Survivor is prob third least fav.
