God.. im not sure where whats his banned face is, but id encourage you guys to keep your expectations low, or at least lower than we, as fans, hold this album in regard. Liberation is ok, but nowhere near this one. I'll have a write up posted later this week.

yea, I love this album, but wasn't really amazed by the new tracks. Wintertide sounds like they're trying to replicate the title track from this one, like the construction is the same. especially that heavy part after like 5.5 minutes which transitions to a really fast part with manic vocals which transitions into a peaceful clean interlude, exactly what happens in bttos between 6 and 8 minute mark. it may sound silly when written like this, but it really sounds too similar.

I've not allowed myself to hope The Liberation would be awesome. In fact I almost don't want to hear it.

This album is a monolith.

If any of the songs are as good as ALEA I will be happy. That song is amazing.

There was one song I did not enjoy that much when I had the chance to listen to the record but besides that it was amazing. There are a lot of amazing moments embedded in their trademark sound

I pre-ordered the new record on the band's website. I rarely pre-order, seeing that I like to see a general reaction on an album first before I spend some cash, so I hope it won't be a bad bargain.

Jamming to this now --- the album as a whole is great, but the last 3 songs and their continuity is really what sets the content of the record apart from peers.

This used to have a 4.3 avg. I'm sad.

Anyway, this was the one metal album that I really liked as a teenager.

Obviously I'm more open-minded now, but good to know that this record still slays.

Crysis' 1 on the 1st page makes me sad.

One of a kind album, nothing sounds remotely like this. Even the production is unique and wholly its own. Been getting back into guitar and some blessed soul at UG did a kick ass guitarpro tab of Sleep of restless hours that fuckin' rules.

Actually i think the whole album can be used on g-pro now via there. Again thanks to those guys lol. Love the final concluding minutes of the song and wondered how to play it.
