That part sounds like it could be on the American Pie soundtrack or something.

Either way, I hate the vocalist.

Very well written. It had enough bite but didn't dig too unnecessarily.

I also happened to enjoy this, but the vocals keep me from enjoying it fully. Tracks 1 - 5 & 9 are all really good, the vocals suck though.

Thanks for the comment Thor! now that I know you have a poor sense of movie taste, I believe that your poor taste transcends to music as well. The Prestige was a great movie, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

i really don't mind his vocals. they grate on me about as much as some of the other hard to listen to vocalists.

i thought this was a pretty good album. it has a PTH feel but i was getting a new era A7X vibe throughout as well. i wish they would have strayed away from the "alternative" experimentation about 25% and replaced that with more spacey, aesthetic noodling. oh well, the damage has been done. good review though.

I'm so dissapointed in this album. I loved Nocturne, but this album is just garbage.

This CD is a real shame. Nocturne is one of my favorite metalcore albums to listen to. I buy this on the day it comes out having already heard the mediocre songs on the MySpace and expecting it to not be too bad. Dead wrong, I was.

I can't find much likeable in any of the songs on this CD. I could have spent my $10 on so many better things. Damn shame...

Good review by the way.

I feel like punishing myself for making the decision, but I think the album was punishment enough...I think I'm gonna go blare Fortress to get this crap out of my ears...
