Yeah, so I just lowered my score for this. THA's sophomore release is such a huge downgrade from Nocturne for me. The band's debut (and Digital Veil for that matter) certainly wasn't perfect, but it boasts good replay value compared to this slipshod crap and Nathan Ells' vocals didn't bother me as much there. Crossing the Rubicon will forever be a jam and a half.

the worst part is there was potential here. 'a violent strike' kicks ass, 'metanoia' has their best breakdown, 'procession...' and 'counting down the days' have nathan's best screams ever

but the majority of this is the lamest shit to ever hit the metalcore scene

Tbh if they made an EP of the 5 best songs here, I'd probably like it almost as much as Nocturne
