I think it's a shame how fans would already force to do the same thing again & again. Everytime when a band tries new ways the fans go crazy. This album is awesome, I'm happy Emery created at least one piece of real art. Question and all of their other stuff is so generic emo-shit that it is not worth a listen, because there are thousand of better bands of the genre out there. Just this album is something totally different, you should give it a detached second listen, you're missing a lot :D

when i joined sputnik several months ago i was shocked by this rating. i questioned my opinion about
it and tried to hear out some flaws that i may have missed, but no way. i love this album so much, i
can't believe that people seem to have the exact opposite feeling. seriously, take a second and third
and 100th re-listen, it's SO worth it.
the fact that they completely changed their sound back to the older albums because of the fans is
probably the saddest thing in music that i know of.

Looking to tap into any kind of popularity, Emery wildly mix it up on 3rd LP 'I'm Only A Man'. Everything from mainstream rock ('World Away') to immature electronica-infused pop ('Don't Bore Us, Get To The Chorus') is included. The band also add some trademark elements to keep fans on side, but it is all rather hit and miss & does not flow all that well. There will definitely be something for you here (maybe the tender 'What Makes A Man A Man', or the hooky 'Party Song'), but it won't be the entire LP. Recommended Tracks: What Makes A Man A Man, Can't Stop The Killer & World Away.

Album is sooo weird and disjointed, sounds like they are trying to get on the radio, but all the sudden there is an explosion of screams. "from crib to coffin" is fucking amazing though, its like a muse song gone good

From Crib To Coffin is the best song they've ever written.
I think what's bothering people about this album is that it sounds so superficial. But there's always
someone who really is that way without having to fake it.
They didn't choose the title for no reason. This album is 200% honest and there's nothing I respect
more than openness(/admitting every single flaw you have as a person).

Can't Stop The Killer is so fucking genius. I think their lyrics are really underappreciated.
