I'm actually surprised that some people prefer their older material to this. Their older material was actually pretty bland and redundant at its worst.
Classics is where they started to grow and expand, bridge the gap from where they started to where they needed to be. They still weren't totally there yet.
This album is an upgrade. It's diverse, it's more complex, it's more entertaining.
On LP4, they have arrived.
Evolution is always essential for an artist. You can't skin your prey with a dull knife.
