"O' God" this and "Bless The Martyr" that......

learn to appreciate music for what it is rather that what the band was two, three, and even four cds ago.

I'd like to quote taylormemor with:

"^^

Awesome.

Thanks for the input. Probably never see you again.

Bye."

“The Anti Mother is a character we created which represents anything that is deceptive, and yet possesses an outwardly beautiful nature."

Good review, but some errors throughout.

Not gonna bother listening to this album.

Alright, when I read this review... I'll be honest, I tried my best to shrug it off.
I figured, it's just another review of a hardcore band from someone who doesn't even like hardcore etc. The reviews on here tend to be extremely biased, so you know, take it with a grain of salt...

I bought the cd yesterday, and I'll be honest... there is definitely some truth to this review. This is coming from a Norma Jean fan. Honestly, I'm more of a Bless the martyr Norma Jean fan, but O God was pretty good as well. Never really got into Redeemer, but I decided to give good ol' NJ the benefit of the doubt... I figured they'd step it up this time around.

My thoughts may be slightly hasty, as I have only listened to it one and a half times at this point... but Cory Brandan's singing is just... not good.
it sounds like he's trying to be keith buckley, but sounding like a bad version of thrice.

There is some good stuff on this album, but whenever cory sings I honestly cringe. And he sings waaay too much.

i think this is less noisecore than their previous stuff, which i think is a good thing, but i have never liked Norma Jean.
