The vocals in SikTh are criminally underrated for how complex they are

Yeah I caught that after like about two minutes of listening haha. They have a few...odd? sounding moments which I find pretty neat.

Mikee Goodman is the most eccentric singer ever, pretty much. But he is so great at

what he does.

Wow I am really starting to like this a lot...You rarely hear slap bass in metalcore-ish music...its really refreshing...

I've started noticing more and more how some parts of this feel extremely disjointed...hopefully they can fix that by the time they release their full length...

No, Sikths album: "Trees are Dead and Dried Out Wait For Something Wild" is better. This album however is good. The highlight is "Nightmares of the ocean." Solstice is also a nice little calming beauty thrown in there.

Good Review.

"I find it increasingly difficult to give The Arusha Accord a genre. They sound like Johnny Truant and Sikth with their vocals, and Architects are a very obvious inspiration for them, but they aren’t metalcore for one reason: there isn’t a single breakdown. When I noticed this I was pleasantly surprised because breakdowns are overdone, boring and centre on one mantra, to be as brutal as possible."

this part had me chuckling tbh, you clearly have no clue what metalcore is.

Good review overall tho' and these guys are really talented.

Saw these guys live the other night and they are unbelievably tight. Spoke to the two guitarists too which was cool.

I just got into this. Pretty sweet, though I wish the two vocalists at least sounded a little different. Good stuff either way

Yeeah he really works that bass! Yikes. Love it. Its all a little hard to follow at some points ,like, time wise. Get the head bob going then its like"wait what?!" Too progressive? :P Still cool though looking forward to a full length.
