Dave, can you answer me something? It's a serious problem I have when reading any of your reviews.
The voice in my head I hear when I'm reading something suddenly changes to Champ Kind from the film Anchorman everytime I read one of your reviews. I have never been able to explain it, and I was hoping you'd have some insight?
Also, can't wait to see your review of War All The Time.

Ok Dave, you are going to have to explain all that because I'm unsure I see it as a compliment no matter which way I take it. I ain't a cowboy, I ain't chauvinistic & I ain't gay. Please elaborate...
PS: Whammy!

Dave, you didn't elaborate...

I wish I could. There's seriously nothing more to it. It's the only voice that fits.

This is the album where the vocals are mixed too high (and they're boarderline-bad). I think everything came together for them on "War All the Time". Good review.

Don't worry IAMINSECT, I am involved in the convo & I'm unsure what it's about. LOL.
WILLIE, 'War All The Time' review is on it's way.

Those spoken word parts in Paris In Flames remind me of At The Drive-In.

The basslines in Autobiography Of A Nation are so good, that song and Paris Flames are my favorites from this album, they never get old. Album brings the nostalgia hard, especially Understanding In A Car Crash, reminds me of the Summer after 8th grade when my taste started to break from mainstream music, it was a good time

Also, the last 2 minutes of How Long Is The Night? are perfect. Such an intense build-up, and you think there's gonna be a huge climax, then they just cut it at just the perfect moment.
