what do you dislike? i would think you'd dig it. their newer EP isn't that great, but this one is just perfect in the emo/screamo/hardcore genre

It's boring. It gets off on being intense or extreme. Not enough variety and it feels really flat.

boring? really? i can't really see boring at all, especially with this being so short and intense. i can understand the lack of variety, with the guitar work the way it is, but they change up so much within each song that it doesn't get repetitive to me. what do you mean by flat though? the production?

You might like a lot of the stuff coming out of Milwaukee these days. It seems like a more focused version of what you described these guys. Try Cougar Den, Terrior Brute, Father Phoenix, or a few other midwesterners: Native and Lautrec. All those bands are pretty darned good. Yay for me spreading my local scene!
