Another fantastic review wizard. Im unlikely to check this out as I still find black metal very annoying to listen to, similarily to the way you described in the opening paragraph ...the vocals are absolutely atrocious.

awesome review. black metal is just one of those things that sounds like it shouldn't be enjoyed, but, to the contrary, there's a LOT of amazing black metal out there

Excellent album! Its bands like Leviathan and Wolves in the throne room that are making people take notice of the USBM scene, and to actually take it serious.
I like the subtle Psychedelic bits, and the drums are fantastic.

Thanks folks for the comments. I kind of took a chance with this review; I was almost afraid to submit seeing as there are so many elitist black metal fans around, waiting to tear a review like this apart hahaha.
