Injection slaps for sure, even the lesser talked about songs like Under the Knife and Drones are sick as well

I think this is actually the first band to ever break my heart. Significant damage was done.

Ready to Fall rules. Not a single skipper on here tho, basically a flawless record. I don't jam Roadside or Approaching Curve very often but I appreciate those songs for what they are.

All about the high energy tracks for me. So nostalgic and fun

Yea, this album is at the same time very accessible and probably their most experimental. That really helps to keep ot diverse and fresh

"They're literally named Rise Against lol it doesn't get more clear cut than that"

"To continue what concu was saying. The album titles band lyrics. Its all political punk"

But this doesn't prove anything. It's not all political punk, many songs are obviously very personal (Like The Angel, Saviour, The Good Left Undone). A song like Ready To Fall can be read as being about depression and suicide. One could argue there are ways to connect these lyrics to climate change, and I agree, but first and foremost it's an angsty depression song to me.

Other songs are clearly political (State of the Union, Prayer of the Refugee etc.)

Wikipedia says this album has themes like animal rights. And yet I have no idea what song would be the animal rights song? Maybe they just did more animal rights activism when this album dropped idk. If anyone has an idea which songs relate to climate change and animal rights, I'd be happy about it. I am not a native speaker after all and might have missed something

ready to fall lyrically is most likely about suicide yes (although it could also be interpreted as metaphorically about the destruction of the environment), but watch the video lol its explicitly climate change/animal rights-based

the fact is that in terms of mainstream punk/alt rock rise against have always been one of the most explicitly political bands around, and even when that's less reflected lyrically the imagery they associate with it more often than not harbors that sort of message

I see videos as a seperate thing most of the time, so I guess I just don't think the album, as in "the music and lyrics", deal with these topics. But it's cool they did videos on it and participated in the activism

Also Injection is awesome, it's even very memorable on the Instrumental side of things. Their guitarist back then really brought some energy
