The Voice of Love is sooo bland

How is a follow up to this awesome album, so fucking bland? I heard it 3 times now and ugh

It certainly doesn't hold a candle to this one, not even close. She Would Die For Love is an amazing song though. I also have a fondness for Questions In a World of Blue, but that might only be because of its very fitting and moving use in FWWM. It's really cheesy on its own. Although I guess that can be said of most of Cruise's stuff, and it's not necessarily a downside.

I just feel like it had nothing stand out about it

Into the Night has a crazy build up

I Remember is jarring and super exciting

Floating has incredibly catchy sax

Rockin' Back Inside My Heart is cutesy and has a neat epilogue section

the Swan is unsettling

The Voice of Love was just a bunch of mellow ballads and 1 song about some guy named Kool Kat fucking some women

dream pop with saxophone... who would've thought how perfect and unique-sounding this combination would be. i feel like this is gonna be a one-of-a-kind album for me.
