What is Chords Thing

All such rock songs are made up of chords but my new theory that makes no sense is that bands like Deftones and 12 Rods want every (single) chord to HIT thru DENSITY or something. It makes no sense as I said but idk I listen to like four seconds of “carry the zero” and (without implying that the song as a whole is redundant) I’m like Mmm yes I get it
I was just gesturing toward some other concept prob tho but yeah that thing has chords

i like his vox too, fits the vibes well
reminds me of dismemberment plan and a lot of other awkward 90s indie/alt rock

vox are perfect yes. love how earnest Martsch sounds compared to all the other 90s indie cats (Malkmus/Brock/SY/ig Black Francis etc). J Mascis probs the only one close in that regard, off the top of my head
