Year Zero is a really dense album. Takes a few listen to get into it, and the story/lyrics/theme are a big part of it. With Teeth is like Diet NIN. Neither record is really on par with Trent's A-game stuff.
And there is no way this album is boring brosef.

Oh, c'mon man. This is actually pretty damn good. And, 'With Teeth' was a very solid return. Sounds like Classic NIN. It's the one in the middle that doesn't sound like much of anything. I can't even make out one track from the next on 'Year Zero'.
Yeah, With Teeth was a solid return but Year Zero is also amazing. Loving The Slip too

downward spiral underwhelmed me, so i dont know why I thought this would be good. Trent's singles always get me excited about Nine Inch Nails then I get albums and I remember I don't dig them at all.

havent listened to much of Year Zero or Ghosts yet...
and i have the CD of The Slip and it comes with a neato DVD of live performances of 5 of some of the songs, and 3 little cards of symbols O.o

the entire album is so uninspired sounding, like Trent is doing it just because he can. I want him to chill out after his mega tour and just go back to the basics and ignite his anger again. His angry music was what made it so fucking incredible.

Honestly, should I get this? Im a fan, have all of his albums. Buttt like the title, Reznor's quality is starting to "Slip". So ive been kinda resistant to this. But really, recommended or not?
