The Ramones started the punk revolution and influenced tons of bands, they are what started me listening to punk and I still love 'em. Today Your Love Tomorrow The World is one of my favorite songs ever. I have the special edition album that has some demo tracks on it that are really awesome, on I Can't Be you can really hear DeeDee thumping away on bass.

Why do you guys like this band? what am I missing?
Even the review, which I don't really like for this reason, says little about what makes the music GOOD. It just refers to it as "stupid" and humorous, and influential.
I like the review, I think eliminator done a good job of delivering the punch that this album could throw at people thirty years ago. He did justify himself, he stated the repeated chord patterns, the dumb lyrics, the slightly more politically aimed lyrics.........it was a good review. This Message Edited On 06.13.06

Amazing Review! Great Intro, Great Points, Great summarizing. It seems that you only did the standout songs...but that's like half the album :D

The song 53rd and 3rd is about a street corner where guys went to hustle and its about a kid who was there but nobody went to him and when someone went he killed them to prove he wasnt a pussy. i think i shall get this soon.

I don't see how people rate this so highly.

Rocket To Russia is better I'd say.

Blitzkrieg Bop is absolutely great.

The rest of the albums....SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME WITH NEARLY IDENTICAL RIFFS.

I dont understand why people like this album other than its historical importance.
