"that proves that the 80's were not totally rubbish for music."

Never disagreed more. Early 80's were great for post-punk (Bands like The Comsat Angels, The Chameleons, Opposition, Eyeless In Gaza, The Fall, Sad Lovers and Giants, Bauhaus, The Cure, The Sound, Modern Eon, Josef K, Family Fodder and countless others), there were still a few good post-punk albums till 1989), some really great bands started in the mid 80's (And Also The Trees, Ozric Tentacles for example, and already had great albums then). Industrial, darkwave, goth rock, even some mainstream music was great in the 80's (for me especially british new wave & synthpop).

Also there were great metal albums in the 80's.

For the album: I love both vocals, and even more the atmosphere.

Gone to Earth by David Sylvian, Remain in Light by Talking Heads, Disintegration by The Cure, and this are my favorite 80s albums
