Yes I got this from the beginning. I don't like the "fruity keyboards and melodic guitars" so much either.

Although there were greek BM bands in the 90's that had nothing to do with all that, for example early Rotting Christ, Varathron, Necromantia Order of the Ebon Hand, Legion of Doom and so on.

Yeah, but there is something about the delivery on Anubis it just gives the sound a ridiculously epic vibe.
