Not only my favorite jazz album, but my favorite album, period. I'm currently listening to the new Legacy Edition for the first time, and hearing every single detail, including Teo Macero's numerous tape edits and loops, is absolute aural heaven.

always like in a silent way the most, but sometimes this really hits the spot.

I really like this now. Took me awhile to get into it but hearing some of Coltrane's later material (which I can't get into at all) made this seem a bit easier to listen to.



Some of the grooves are ridiculous. The intro to the title track and then when the bass line starts is so good. I really like Sanctuary too. Love Fender Rhodes.
