After 10yrs of continued listening this thing just gets better and better and I still haven’t wrapped my head around it.

It's so difficult but also great. Confuses me a lot as you can tell.

It’s a hard one to digest but underneath all them layers there is a groove and a soul the likes of which have rarely been seen.

I notice I have 10% jazz in me pie chart so I can can say with some perspicacity wanker comments such as this and indeed such words as perspicacity.

Dig it dadio (again wanker)

😎 (and again)

Seriously considering making this the first vinyl purchase I’ll make 🚨 wanker 🚨

That sunglassed smiley face was especially wankerish.

I've got a big preference for jazz from the 50s and early 60s, but this one's an exception.

What is perfect? Early 60s jazz?

I'm definitely more into this stuff (dark, moody, this, In A Silent Way, Jack Johnson) as opposed to the more upbeat records (Miles Smiles).
Have y'all heard Christian Scott? Some really cool modern jazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

''Early 60s jazz?'' This yeah.

''Have y'all heard Christian Scott?'' No I haven't. What's a good track/album to check?

You have never heard boring 60s jazz before? I think there is a lot of it tbh.

I wouldn't call anything perfect, but the 60s was certainly a time when a lot of the magic happened in jazz and popular music.

When I see the title "Bitches Brew", my first thought is that the brew belongs to one bitch. But if that were the case, it would be called "Bitch's Brew". I think in the case of this album title, the "brew" is actually a verb, denoting the action that "bitches", or more than one bitch, are partaking in. Then comes the question, "what are the birches brewing?" but that's an entirely different discussion.

I listen to Jazz all the time. There is pre Bitches Brew and then after that little innovation in the area of Jazz. Every time I go to a concert now, it is imitation of Bitches Brew. Yes I have a lot of jazz from all era´s but Miles Davis raised the musical bar to sky high position. I do not think there will be any person to exceed the innovative standards of Miles Davis!
