I can't believe you forgot Sacrifice Unto Sebek, that's one of my favourite songs off the album!!
And even the title track of the album.
I'm happy that the production on this album kicks the crap out of the rest, lets you actually hear what they're playing! I wish they would re-record some older songs.
They're all incredible musicians. This Message Edited On 04.07.06

This album is a Death Metal masterpiece.
Playing Lashed To The Slave Stick is great as well.
LTTSS
Cast Down The Heretic
Annihilation Of The Wicked
The whole album is amazing.
Yo, good to see you on sputnik, Mitch.

This is my first Nile album that I have listened to. I was extremely impressed

Mind blowing album. The atmosphere and sheer brutality is kept throughout and never stops giving.
Lashed To The Slave Stick is just a classic death metal song, and for that it's amazing. The intro is death metal incarnate.
How they remain heavy and brutal with the epic Egyptian sound escapes me.
Awesome.

i really want this!!!!!
Do they have a bass player?

yeah, just liek all bands, but I don't think he's really an official member (kinda like the bass player to DIsturbed, who isn't an offical member either).

Joe Payne is their official bassist, but he's only a touring member. There is no keyboard on here.

There's keyboard in the instrumental and Von...yeah you get the idea. Karl does it.
I'm now hooked on this completely. Sacrifice Unto Sebek, the title track and Cast Down The Heretic (solo ++) are classics.

this album started to grow on me only a few weeks ago, whole album is just wicked, good change of sound to the drums, i prefer the 'thinner' sound on the snare as opposed to their previous releases

Wow. I just listened to the album again. This is really amazing stuff. If I could change my rating, it would now be a 4.5 or possibly a 5. I think this may be my favorite death metal album of all time (Dying Fetus' "Destroy The Opposition" is pretty awesome though, ha).

Well, guess what? You can change your rating.
