Wow, look at the mood shift in here. It's sad like when on South Park, Cartman ate all the chicken skin and Kenny didn't get any

What is The Spaghetti Incident like? I was thinking about buying it.

The spaghetti incident is a good all heavy/hard rock/punk rock album, xcept for the last track (which is hidden) and Since I don't have you. It shows their aggresion, and is worth a listen. Definitely unlike the UYI albums, but similar to AFD, xcept not as good or consistent.

Get in the Ring kicks your ass.
Knockin' on Heaven's Door was shit on the album, but when they did it live it sounded better.

Not as good as 'Use your Illusion 1' but still a great album. 'Civil war' is a GnR classic. They cover 'Knockin' on heavens Door' very well and with so much emotion. Although I actually like 'Shotgun Blues' and 'Get in the ring'.This Message Edited On 04.18.06

I actually like the alternate lyrics of Don't Cry better then the UYI 1 version. Anyway, I agree with the lot of you that Civil War is a Kick A** song along with Knockin' on Heavens Door. I also really enjoyed You Could Be Mine. I heard this way back when I was in the fifth or six grade and thought it was the greatest thing ever... it's still as great.

the only song i like of this album are "Civil War" and of course "Knocking on Heaven's Door"

i think you rated most of the songs a little low...
But you got all the 5/5 right, except maybe estranged. if you listen to it its so much better than any song on the album. It deserves likea 19/5. IMO it even beats out Sweet child o mine. This Message Edited On 06.01.06

I wish they would of never bothered adding the alternate lyrics version of Don't Cry and My World. I think it hurts the whole flow of the album because I think it should really end with You Could Be Mine which is an awesome song! But oh well! Great CD no matter what!

Estranged beats nything off appetite for destruction. Everything about it is amazing. Civil War and You Could be Mine are both awsome aswell...

Although I find Axl Rose to be a complete deuche bag nowadays (anyone seen him in the new Guitar World magazine? Corn rows on Axl = him being a deuche), I feel the urge to check this out as soon as I get some more green...This Message Edited On 07.18.06

This Cd is up there with Appetite For Destruction in terms of quality. On some days I prefer it, but they are obviously better for different things. This Message Edited On 07.18.06

I don't think My World gets enough credit. It was made a really long time ago, back before bands like RATM. I think that side of Axl shows a fair amount of potential, although I'd hate it if they didn't do any more hard rock on the new album (if it ever comes out.)

I wouldnt get any G&R albums, rather get a greatest hits compilation.

Civil War is what got me into GnR!

I'm listening to Civil War as I write this, and I felt completely obliged to say how awesome of a song it is and how great this album is.
