That's a pretty judgemental statement to make, there is plenty of melodic metal out there--Trust me, try six bands you've never heard of, and I guarantee you'll change your mind.
Linkin Park are not even a third of the way to being the best band around.

Hahaha. Okay. Hate to jump to conclusions, but I rarely ever see reviews get taken down (kudos to whoever takes them down before I seem them) and some pretty terrible reviews have been kept up. It was probably bias/quality control. If it was an atrocious review, then it was an atrocious review.
