OVERRATED Punk bands these days
Breaking Benjamin is overated.
|
| |
No, Breaking Benjamin just suck.
|
| |
True as well.
|
| |
for what nofx have done for the punk genre they are definately in the top three best bands ever. still not as good as minor threat though.
|
| |
I always thought had alot of great songs but no great album. This may be the closest they get. Not that they'd be bothered.
|
| |
c'mon, i love NOFX, but:
" NOFX being the greatest punk band EVER is now a slightly true statement."
its a little to heavie for me, i'm still a Bad Religion addicted, they still get the #1.

amazing album

Unlike most people, I really despise this CD as a whole due to the band's bias on later works. I'd prefer it if they had included more classics like "New Boobs" or "S&M Airlines" or even "On The Rag". Sorry, but this album is ridiculous IMHO. 0.5/5

A lot of band's greatest hits compilations fail to capture the best of a band, but in my opinion this one did an excellent job of that. And honestly, I would give this one a 4.5 for "Wore Out the Soles of My Party Boots" alone. I'd consider that song their magnum opus, but other tracks like "Leave It Alone" and "Separation of Church and Skate" are also top shelf. But I stand by my rating because if there's any NOFX album worth buying if you're just getting into them, it'd be nearly impossible to not get at least something out of this one.
