I had never heard these guys but "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To" makes it into so many lists
and it has such a high rating I figured I must give it a try. I downloaded both LYSFLAT and this and
by the end of LYSFLAT I was more than under whelmed. I was actually a little ticked. Since I had paid
for these I trudged on through Yanqui U.X.O and was really rewarded for my tenacity. I really really
loved this album on the very first listen. I can't stand LYSFLAT despite the general consensus but I
loved this and would recommend it.

I think Lift Your Skinny Fists is their best work, solely because it contains Storm and Antennas to Heaven, which are by far my favorite GY!BE songs. I still have yet to pick up Yanqui though. However, I have listened to Motherf***er= Redeemer a few times, and highly enjoyed it.

Yeah, I guess 9-15-00 is pretty dang awesome. I need to buy this... I saw a record store in Denver the other day, hopefully they'll be cool enough to have this in stock.
What happened on 9-15-00 anyways? I know it's only 4 days after 9/11, so probably something relating to that happened, but I'm not sure.
