What are you talking about?
|
| |
"Paul is dead, miss him" backwards, if I remember correctly. I listened to it, it sounds like gibberish. Anything can appear to be there if you believe it enough.
That's what I was talking about.

Ok Review but one thing that bugged me.
"Wild Honey Pie, it’s fair to say wouldn’t have won any prizes for its merits as a song, as it features a strangely styled guitar line while the only lyrics until the last 2 seconds of the song are “Honey Pie”."
Actually he says "Honey pie 3 times and says I love you" :p

thats a subliminal message. There is one on The Wall that is really clear and it says something like congrats on finding the secret message or something like that.

idk i cant really get into the beatles. first off im a drummer and i have to say ringo starr is the most overrated drummer of all time. ppl think hes god. hes decent but nowhere near the top drummers of all time. also i think they were a little too mainstream and that way too many teenage girls liked their music if u know what i mean. they were kind of like the pop punk of the 60s. dont get me wrong i respect what they did this is just my opinion

So because teenage girls gave into Beatlemania, their later, progressive works are no good?
Also, Ringo serves perfectly as a drummer for the Beatles. They didn't need overtly complex polyrhythms and other some such. All they needed was a nice simple beat, and Ringo did the job perfectly. This Message Edited On 10.10.05

^^^i know he laid down a good foundation. thats why i hate when ppl say he is one of the greatest drummers of all time becuz he played basic stuff and wasnt anything special
|
| |
You don't need to be on steroids and have four drumsets on a revolving thingy to be a good drummer. Any dude can wack a large amount of drums really fast, but only ringo (and roger taylor of queen) could do it creatively. Ever hear the Drum Solo in "The End"?
Also, Punk sucks

Nice I just got this for Christmas, I've been waiting to get it for a long time. On the radio I heard "Revolution" except it was faster and more rock driven. What album is that version on?

Are you sure it wasn't Revolution 1?
Because it's very rock driven.

Revolution 1 sounds very bluesy and slow-tempo to me. I don't know, maybe I have a different version of the album.
|

one of the best albums ever, very well written too

There was a more rock-driven version of Revolution 1 called Revolution that can be found on Past Masters Vol. 2.
|
| |
The faster, more upbeat version of Revolution was released as the B-side to Hey Jude. I like it a lot better.
I also think Ringo really is a good drummer. Besides being great at keeping the song moving along, he had some pretty interesting drum fills. I enjoy his style a lot. This Message Edited On 02.13.06

I know I rated this, but it's gone, oh well.
This is a great album, but will forever be considered overrated in my mind.
