For sure. Morrison's persona was so bright that the rest of the guys don't get the love they deserve. At the same time, Morrison was their muse and one of those guys who are irreplaceable, as proven by the fact that the band fell off so much on the albums without Jim.

HELLO!!!!!!!!
HELLOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim Morrison had the best screams in 70s rock, even better than Ian Gillan sometimes.

To the east to meet the czar~

Good album but it has a lot of crappy fillers. At least 5 songs are skippable

I came home from Viet Nam in June of 68 and this long play hit me like a ton of bricks. The first time I heard this release I was stoned and the cut The Unknown Soldier kicked me in the brain and the balls. It moves me to this day.

There are at least five other tracks on this long play that are better than average. Overall this could be their best album lyrically and musically.

RIP Ray Manzarek RIP Douglas Lubahan

RIP Jim Morrison

RIP Leroy Vinnegar
